EMKATA is the original acrostic word game with over 500 topics and thought-starters to spark your imagination and creativity. Play one-on-one or in teams of two or more in this fast-paced game of word strategy. Each team draws a category card and gives the other team an acrostic word. Players then build upon their acrostic word and try to score as many points as possible in each of the three 5-minute rounds. Players can use special Bi-gram and Tri-gram tiles to double and triple their score. Teams can leverage this and other strategies to win.

Scoring is very simple. You get one point per tile but Bi-grams (X2) and Tri-grams(X3) allow you to double or triple your score.  Bridge tiles are used to fill in missing letters and have zero points.
 
CAKE: 4 tiles = 4 points

ORANGE: 6 tiles - 1 bridge = 5 points

GARDEN: 5 tiles * 1 Bi-gram = 10 points

RABBIT: 5 tiles * 1 Bi-gram = 10 points

ROOT: 3 tiles * 1 Bi-gram = 6 points

NUTRIENTS: 7 tiles * 1 Tri-gram = 21 points

Family  :  Ages 10+  :  2 - 6 players
